Family Style Kitchen
We thought a lot about the look and feel of our kitchen at Sedro Trail. We wanted it to be a kitchen you could find at home and not something that looked like a facility or hospital style setting. This way your loved one will feel at home. Enjoying a home cooked meal is one of the many additional comforts we offer at Sedro Trail. So much of the therapy involved in Alzheimer and Dementia care is centered on a schedule, feeling useful, and continuing to do many of the things a person did prior to the illness.
It is our pleasure to provide not only a comfortable place for our residents to dine, but also a place to feel involved in the process. Like many families, our kitchen is an important focal point. Whether a person is helping make cookies or putting out napkins, we want them to be comfortable, feel wanted and needed, and most of all, at home.
