We have a beautifully large nature area equipped for our residents. They can spend time watching birds, enjoying the sounds of nature, and relaxing in the serene environment.

The outdoors can bring a certain sense of peace and overwhelming calm to someone with Alzheimer's or Dementia. By being outdoors in our large, enclosed back yard, residents feel free and at ease. Your loved one can spend time watching the deer, birds, squirrels and other wildlife. They can garden in our raised flower beds and enjoy playing with our pet Silkie chickens. Your loved ones can continue having some of the same freedoms they enjoyed before the onset of Alzheimer's.

I have known for some time that I was going to need help with my husband because he was too heavy for me to lift.
